Terms of Service

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Okolo app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data.

1. Who we are

Okolo is provided by AMICA C. s.r.o., Jablonov nad Turňou 59, 049 43 Jablonov nad Turňou, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 31663460, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Košice, section Sro, file 2377/V (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@okolo.bike.

2. What Okolo does

Okolo helps you look after your bikes. It keeps track of service tasks based on the rides you log or import from Strava, reminds you when a part needs attention, and stores your suspension settings.

Okolo is currently a test version, offered free of charge to invited testers. Features can change, be removed or not work as expected, and the test can end. We’ll tell testers in advance when we can.

3. Your account

4. Service reminders are guidance

Intervals in Okolo come from manufacturers’ recommendations and our estimates. They are a guide, not a guarantee that a part is safe, and they don’t replace inspecting your bike or a professional service. Wear depends on conditions Okolo can’t see, such as mud, rain, weight or riding style. Check your brakes, tires and other safety-critical parts before you ride and follow the instructions of the manufacturer of your bike and parts.

The same applies to suspension settings: suggested values are a starting point. Make changes carefully and within the limits your fork or shock manufacturer gives.

5. Strava

Connecting Strava is optional. When you connect, Okolo reads your rides and bikes from Strava with your permission. Strava’s own terms apply to your Strava account. Okolo isn’t made, endorsed or supported by Strava. You can disconnect Strava at any time in the app (Settings → Strava) or on Strava’s website.

6. Your data

What you put into Okolo stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run Okolo for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all its data at any time, see Delete account.

7. Using Okolo fairly

Please don’t misuse Okolo: no attempts to access other people’s data, to disrupt the service, to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or to use it for anything illegal. We may suspend an account that does this, after telling you why where we can.

8. Liability

We work hard to keep Okolo correct and available, but as a free test version it’s provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by relying on a reminder or setting, by a missed reminder, or by Okolo being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

9. Ending

You can stop using Okolo and delete your account at any time. We may end the test or the service; we’ll tell you in advance and give you a way to get your data where we can.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll publish the new version here and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can go to the courts there. If you have a complaint, please write to support@okolo.bike first; we’ll try to sort it out.
